The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS), had previously announced and supported a number of illusory projects, all of which were merely facades used by MBS to manipulate public opinion in the Kingdom and lay the groundwork for his eventual rule.
The Saudi Crown Prince recently revealed plans to construct an artificial lake within the $500 billion NEOM project, which MBS had first announced in 2017 with the goal of converting the desert into a cutting-edge future city run entirely on renewable energy. The project is expected to cost $3.7 billion.
As per the promotional materials released at NEOM’s launch, the project encompasses renewable energy initiatives and relies on robotics, automated human support, and aerial taxis. Among its projects were Oxagon, Sindala, Trogena, and The Line; according to MBS, these will be the world’s final destinations.
A news article titled “Webuild” in the New Civil Engineer newspaper stated that the construction of an artificial lake for the Saudi company NEOM would likely cost British pounds.
It added that three additional dams will be built on the lake to create a 2.8-kilometer-long freshwater lake.
There are numerous reasons for the NEOM project’s current crisis. This project, which was created and built on the blood of the Kingdom’s tribes, was so fictitious that experts claimed it only existed in the Saudi Crown Prince’s imagination that it caused the first major financial crisis in the Kingdom’s history as it cost half a trillion dollars.
It is important to note that, despite the billions of dollars the Saudi Crown Prince is squandering, the average Saudi citizen suffers from rising prices, inflation, and taxes on essential services, all of which are imposed without considering his initial requirements or reaching a standard of living appropriate for his plundered wealth.
Since MBS’s fake projects have started to deplete the nation’s wealth and burden the budget with ever-larger debts each year, foreign experts have concluded that MBS is operating under the false impression that he will construct pyramids in the Kingdom akin to the Egyptian pyramids, indicating that his projects have no basis in reality.
