The Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman takes a new decision to deliberately waste money, despite the economic crisis the Kingdom suffers from, which affects the lives of the citizen, as well as the decline in oil exports.
The Crown Prince still considers his fantasies and does not pay attention to the needs of the citizens.
ESPN sports website revealed the Saudi authorities ’intention to host a boxing match between British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, in a contract worth $150 million. The boxing match between Fury and Joshua is likely to take place in late July or early August.
The website reported that the proposed amount was higher than any fees ever paid to host a boxing game.
Over recent years, Saudi Arabia has tended to host international events, especially sports and music, which were uncommon in the Kingdom years ago.
In 2019, the Kingdom announced that it would host a boxing match between the British citizen Anthony Joshua and the Mexican American Andy Ruiz.
Back then, the British newspaper “Telegraph” had revealed that this boxing match was taking place in Saudi Arabia, which spent nearly $100 million to host it.
In February 2020, the World Wrestling Federation (WWE) announced the holding of a women’s fight for the “SmackDown” championship in Saudi Arabia, at the Saudi Super Showdown 2020, between SmackDown 2020 champions Bayley and her competitor, Naomi.
The crown prince spent at least $1.5 billion on prominent international sporting events in an attempt to boost his reputation and whitewash his crimes.
Billions of dollars would have been saved if the reckless prince had not committed his heinous crimes against the Saudi people and opponents.
