A few weeks ago, Saudi Arabia declared that Israel’s diplomatic normalisation is getting closer every day. The Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud, also stated that there is an interest in normalising relations.
Thus, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) is publicly eager to normalise ties with Israel. He had previously said in an interview with Fox News in response to a question about ongoing talks to establish diplomatic relations with Israel: “We are getting closer every day.” MBS refers to the stated and actual procedures that exist in reality, rather than just sentiments. According to experts and analysts, the Crown Prince has started acting dangerously in the region for the Israeli entity’s advantage, but he wants normalisation to be a proclaimed front for evil deeds done in the area.
The statements from Saudi Arabia and Israel, according to those opposed to Israeli policies and rapprochement, are merely ploys to deflect attention away from the real activities that are taking place behind closed doors.
Redrawing the Middle East is another role that some experts and analysts believe Saudi Arabia has played as a principal agent of the United States and the Israeli entity. Its actions in Yemen, for instance, its backing of despotic governments, its flimsy and complicit stance on the Gaza War, and other such actions, are only appropriate for Western client states seeking sovereignty—even at the price of their dignity.
As a result, MBS fought a hard battle to transform the kingdom, undermine its moral, religious, and social foundations, and gradually pull it away from Islam.
The NEOM project in Vision 2030, named after the biblical kingdom of Naoum and its location in the centre of the so-called “Greater Israel” state, is one of the most obvious signs of MBS’s overwhelming desire to move closer to Israel. As per MBS’s plan, NEOM will serve as a hub not only for Saudis but also for Israelis and Saudis, fostering a closer relationship and eradicating differences in the process.
It is important to note that Israeli companies directly operate in NEOM and hold control over its most hazardous joint venture, the data and information systems sector, which is overseen by the Israeli company Check Point. Since the Jewish rabbi Yaakov Yisrael claimed that he was given the idea for NEOM years ago, who gave it to him and why was it given to an Israeli rabbi?
Next comes the plan to purchase the two Egyptian islands Tiran and Sanafir. After several attempts, the Saudi Kingdom insisted on acquiring the two islands from Egypt for billions of dollars with the intention of turning them into international waters that permit unrestricted navigation by all parties. As a result, no one will be able to pose a threat to Israel’s security!
MBS’s endeavor and genuine goal is to promote normalisation with Israel as a natural part of the Arab world, ignoring Israeli practices of eradicating and uprooting the Palestinian people.
The truth is that, during the MBS era, the Zionists sought to achieve normalization with Saudi Arabia and other major countries, not small countries like Bahrain and the UAE that volunteered to become Zionist colonies. In exchange, they sought to consolidate the foundations of their oppressive rule, Westernize the nation, and imbue it with a Western character in order to eradicate all Islamic elements.
