Last Sunday evening, local news agencies announced that the Houthis had targeted the port of Ras Tanura and the residential neighborhood in Dhahran in two separate attacks, mainly targeting Aramco oil facilities. A Saudi source said that these operations target oil supplies from Saudi Arabia to the countries of the world.

Saudi SPA said that the Ministry of Energy in Saudi condemned the attacks of the Houthis and called on all countries to stand in the face of the repeated Houthi attacks on the petroleum facilities in Saudi Arabia, as they target the security and stability of petroleum exports, global trade routes, and freedom Marine traffic. There are no injuries or losses of life or property damage according to SPA.

Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Defense, said  that the drone and missile used in the two attacks on Dhahran were destroyed, causing shrapnel to fall near civilians.

He confirmed that the Ministry of Defense will take all necessary and deterrent measures to protect its national capabilities and acquisitions in a way that preserves global energy security, and to stop such terrorist attacks.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Houthis, published a statement on his Twitter account in which he revealed the details of a wide military operation, where missile force and air force were used in a large operation in Saudi. 14, including 10 Samad 3 drones and 8 ballistic missiles were used in the operation.

We promise to inflict painful operations to the Saudi regime as long as it continues its aggression and siege on our country, he added.

The defense minister and the basements

Dr. Khaled Al-Jabri, the son of the former Saudi intelligence official, Saad Al-Jabri, mocked they Saudi regime’s appeal to the world for protection in a tweet, stating that this way of begging for protection whenever the country was bombed by Houthi, was used ever since MBS came to power

Al-Jabri said that admitting failure is better than continuing with it, and the time has come to beg the allies and the international community to protect civilians and vital properties in the country, six years after the Defense Minister failed to do so, referring to Saudi Crown Prince MBS.

He added, before the exaggeration in criticizing the Saudi Defense Minister, we must take into account that he does not have any military education or combat experience, and it has also become clear that he cannot do anything to stop the attacks of that catastrophic war, so hiding in the Neom basements, and authorizing the people of experience is the best possible solution now.

Al-Jabri’s tweets were widely spread through news agencies and Twitter users, as they retaliated the crown prince’s failure in the NEOM city project, which he considered a world dream project, with reports that predicted the failure of Neom, and the most prominent comments were that the only success achieved by bin Salman in Neom is building royal palaces and Basements that connect them, so that he can hide in there when it is time to change him.
