Many analysts attributed the choice of Neom’s name to the Neom electronic game for building cities, while others attributed it to a Latin word meaning new, and the Arabic word for the future, to expres ‘the new future’ the Crown Prince dreams about.
Other analysts stated the name of the city of Neom, which will include lands from Sinai, Aqaba and northeastern Saudi Arabia to the word in the Torah which refers to the land to which the Israelies fled the oppression of the Pharaoh in Egypt during Moses era, however they deny that they escaped to Sinai, the Till desert, the Moses Mountain and The Eyes of Moses.
They claimed that they fled to Medyen lands on which MBS is establishing the Neom project, as according to the last version of the Torah since the last half century, they claim that the Gulf was from the Gulf of Suez, and not from the land of Sinai. Others state that the name was derived from the name of Medyen, which was a famous name among the Israeli people during Jacob’s era and his journey to Egypt, where they named Medyen as Neom at the time.

The occupation entity tried to use all these allegations to have authority over these lands, which MBS helpd them with, and he announced the participation of Egypt and Jordan, but he did not confirm the participation of Israel, however many reports confirmed its participation and managing the NEOM projects. Israeli businessmen announced their intention to invest in technology and management projects in the city, in order to establish the presence of the Zionist entity within the Arab society, and to approve the Israeli occupation on the blessed land of Palestine, which was confirmed when MBS received Netanyahu in Neom a few months ago.
