The UAE leadership, represented by Mohammed bin Zayed and his aids, exploited the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the lack of experience of the Saudi crown prince, and involved it in open war in Yemen, the annual cost of which is more than one billion US dollars, according to international military reports.

The UAE withdrew from this war as soon as it achieved its goals, leaving the leadership alone in this mess, while getting preoccupied with securing its southern borders, counting its gains, and establishing its influence in southern Yemen, after it displaced the people of Mayon Island, and displaced them from their lands and homes in order to build a military base and a number of secret prisons to torturing its opponents.

Since the start of the war and the end of the coalition, the Houthis, with the support of Iran, were able to win harm Saudi Arabia which was left alone in the field, losing everyday money, lives, and prestige.

The economic crises that the Kingdom suffers from is mainly a result of that war that set Yemen back hundreds of years and harm its reputation abroad, and turned the public opinion against it, until Germany announced an arms embargo against it, but at the same time, it overlooked the crimes of the UAE in Yemen and continued selling it arms. The UK also stopped selling arms to the kingdom for months while selling to the UAE.

All these examples prove that the UAE was able to manipulate the Saudi leadership and dragging it into an endless war, while it kept its image bright internationally after making a fictitious withdrawal, leaving the kingdom's image tainted with Yemeni blood and appearing like it controls the decision of the Saudi leadership.

The US was also involved in draining Saudi Arabia financially, and by making statements suggesting that Saudi Arabia is committing crimes in Yemen that amount to war crimes and deserve accountability, in return, Saudi Arabia makes payments for protection levies to the US in the form of grants, arms deals or lifting taxes on the deployment of US forces in the country, which has cost billions of dollars, which Saudi citizens are more deserving of.

Would the Saudi government continue walking in this fatal path, or would it stop and save the country before it is too late?
