For many decades, Saudi Arabia remained secure and in peace. It did not go through any wars, destabilization, or security or military disturbances; however, over the last few years, and since the arrival of the Crown Prince, Saudi Arabia into wars which caused many problems for the country.
The reckless Crown prince, who is also the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, was appointed in December 2015, and since then the kingdom has become vulnerable by air, land and sea to missile attacks and explosive naval boats, in addition to the clashes on the borders.
The crown prince pushed the kingdom into foreign conflicts and wars, which weakened the kingdom and its economy. In addition to this, the human rights violations increased significantly and made him and the country on the list of human rights violators.
Over the past years, the Saudi people have been wondering: Where is the Minister of Defense? Why did he not appear in the review of the military plans to confront the Houthi strikes, for example!
They wondered why did he not explain to the citizens the reason behind the decline in the military performance of the army, or explain what the country’s future will be in light of the ongoing war?

The most prominent question is; Where is the military arsenal on which billions of dollars are spent in favor of foreign countries? Which despite all this spending he still begs the major countries to pressure Iran to stop its attacks. Moreover, he submits complaints to the United Nations against Iran and its groups.
According to the French intelligence website “Intelligence Online the Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman aims to consolidate his grip on the defense and security sectors after he arrested senior princes.
The website stated that MBS seeks to introduce changes to the defense sector to enable the General Authority for Military Industrialization and the “Saudi Military Industries”.
It pointed out that MBS used the US consulting firm “Kearney” to reshape the defense sector, as well as the National Guard, to integrate it into the Ministry of Defense.
The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) revealed that Saudi Arabia is the first in the Arab world and sixth in the world in terms of arms expenditures in 2020 followed by Germany, France, Japan and South Korea.
Saudi tweeters recently launched a hashtag on the failure of the Defense Minister which is trending in Saudi Arabia to mock the Crown Prince MBS. The tweeters reviewed the failure of MBS to protect the facilities of their country against the increasing Houthi attacks.
