Would NEOM become the first Zionist colony supported by the governments of Arab countries?

Despite the economic conditions that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is going through, due to the crises of the open war in Yemen, and the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, bin Salman continues to work on his dream project, the city of NEOM, from which foreign investors fled and stopped pumping their money into it for many considerations.

The smart city, which bin Salman is working day and night to establish, does not have the financial capabilities to implement it, after the Kingdom’s government was unable to attract investors, and therefore he resorted to opening the door for investment to Zionist companies in Israel, where leaked information about digital and technology companies affiliated with the occupying state revealed their intention to continue with the Bin Salman NEOM project, but MBS wanted the communication between the government and the companies to remain secret.

Specialized analysts said that “Israel will be the cornerstone in the establishment of the smart city,” which paves the way for the Zionist entity’s penetration into the Arab countries; making Bin Salman’s city the first Zionist colony under the auspices of the governments of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt, with Qatar starting normalization under the auspices of the United Arab Emirates.

Observers revealed concerns over the management of the technological and digital sphere that will be under the Israeli companies, thus allowing them to control the city, as the database will be managed by the Zionist occupation, and this would increase the chance of giving them a tremendous intelligence influence.

Meanwhile, the occupying Zionist entity is establishing a commercial city on the port of Eilat, and working to renew the ports of Ashdod and Ashkelon, which makes these projects complementary to the extension of the Saudi NEOM project, given the mutual interests between Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Zionist occupation due to their proximity to the global market.

It is worth noting that “the construction of this city will be at the expense of the rights of the tribesmen who inhabited the area for more than 800 years, as the Saudi government seeks to transfer more than 30,000 people – from the area’s residents – to build the new NEOM project.”

Baheth Center for Strategic Studies said: If, as of the date of this writing, bin Salman is still waiting to join the normalization train with the occupation entity in Palestine for reasons related to Saudi Arabia’s moral position and what it constitutes as a model for many Muslims, the foreign investments that bin Salman is betting on for the success of his vision will push him to work according to the strategy of secret normalization that has been going on for decades between “Israel” and Saudi Arabia; It will therefore constitute an entry point for the penetration of Israeli companies, and the exploitation of bin Salman’s need for these investments, especially at the technological level (which will characterize the city of Neom); Which began to be achieved by the declaration of many Israeli companies their desire to work and contribute to the achievement of this pioneering city, and that what we are witnessing from the new Saudi-Israeli relations is only a literal application of the text of an Israeli document approved at the “Herzliya Conference 2014”, prepared by a team of leading Israeli researchers in the field of national security issues, which recommended strengthening Israel’s current regional relations as much as possible; Through the establishment of official or unofficial relations with the Gulf states, especially Saudi Arabia, as a main pillar in Israel’s direction towards the Arab countries to form joint strategic field.
